Design notes

This is your go to for a mid-sized everyday bag, and available in either a shoulderbag or a 2-in-1 configuration.

Fits smaller laptops and has a whole lots of pockets for your organisational joy.

Previously call the A4 matttBAG.

Who it's perfect for

This bag is the sweetspot between capacity and size and is great as both an everyday bag though also fitting everything you need to commute.

Being taller than it is wide it hugs the body and never feels overwhelming.

Not as good for

The streamlined profile and taller proportions of this bag mean it can often be a little tricky to find smaller items in the main compartment.

This can be rectified by using the many pockets, however if you tend to put everything in together it may get a little annoying at times.

If you do like to carry everything together I'd suggest the Widekick as the extra 5cm width solves this problem.

Size & what fits

The external dimensions of the Partner in Crime are 32cm wide, 37cm tall and 9cm deep.

As the interior of the bag is slightly smaller (due to seams etc) the size of the largest object it will fit is 29cm x 35cm - slightly taller than an A4 document.

This means a 13" laptop will fit (a 13-inch Apple Macbook is 22cm x 31cm), even in a case, along with papers, magazines etc.

A 15-inch laptop should fit snuggly but won't leave much space for much else.

The taller proportions also mean it works brilliantly for larger water bottles and such (or a couple of wine bottles if needed).

Just a shoulderbag?

Your Partner in Crime can be ordered as a shoulderbag or a 2-in-1.

The shoulderbag is a pared back configuration without the rear pockets or the loops to attach the straps for a backpack.

This makes it slightly less bulky (and much less complicated to sew), contributing to the substantially lower price.

The 2-in-1 configuration is terrific if you like extra organisation and/or to wear your bag as a backpack (even occasionally).

It is shown above with two narrower 4cm wide straps (though will also work with two 5cm wide straps as shown on the shoulderbag).

The straps you receive can be clarified when you place your order.
