A summer in Yorkshire
At the beginning of June I’ll be heading overseas to live in the UK for four months.
While I was originally planning to set up a remote studio (and continue making bags), I’ve since decided to use the time to fully focus on a coding project I’ve been wanting to work on for several years.
I’m looking forward to a new day-to-day routine, exploring a part of the world rich in textile design and production and spending time with family.
Now I just hope it is somewhat sunny - haha.
Ordering a bag before I leave
As I've only a couple of weeks before I head away the best option is to look at the ready made bags.
These bags are sewn and ready to post straightaway - the last day for these orders is Wednesday June 5.
Ordering a bag while I'm away
Any bags ordered whilst I'm away will be sewn and posted when I return in October.
These will be fulfilled in the order received, you will receive an accurate delivery date when you place your order - I'm expecting to have all of these completed by the end of October at the latest.
Collab + Penpals
I've recently been working on an exciting collaboration with friend and local artist Chris Vernon.
The series of three artworks depict observations and characters he has met on travels locally, overseas and in his imagination.
To showcase the artwork I've developed Penpals, small sling/pouch bags with digitally printed linings - designed as the perfect bag for walking the dog (or other adventures).
These are available in two sizes and make perfect gifts, either for yourself or others.
