When I first started making bags for friends and family eighteen years ago I could never have imagined it was the start of such an amazing journey!

The support of customers and fellow makers over this time has been humbling and inspiring, and I feel privileged my bags are a positive part of peoples day-to-day lives, gifts for special occasions and/or trusted sidekicks on overseas adventures.

However after countless hours of designing, sewing and refining my bags I've decided its the right time to take a break to explore new challenges (and have some overseas adventures of my own).

This mean midnight on Sunday the 21st May 2017 will be the last day I'll be taking orders.

After this I'll be busy completing any orders received and putting things in order before packing up the mattt SHOP and the website into hibernation at the end of June 2017.

Feel free to pop-in during these days to have a look at a very new (and obviously limited) range of tote bags and a range of device organiser (which won't make it to the website) or discuss something a little more personalised you've been wanting to get made.

For specifics about when the mattt SHOP will be open and any special events I'll be holding (like a closing party) please visit the Calendar & SHOP hours page →

Thanks again for your support, ideas (and patience if I've ever been a little slower than expected making your bag) ☺
